The Coming Out Day Breakfast brings together community members, allies, and leaders for an inspiring morning filled with discussions, personal stories, and networking opportunities. By coming together on October 3, your presence sends a powerful message of solidarity and support to our young people.

Awards:

This year we will honor two long-time JASMYN champions. Please join us at the Breakfast to cheer them on and hear their beautiful stories:

• Chet Wilkinson will receive our Diamond Award for his contributions to JASMYN and the greater LGBTQIA+ community.
• Erin Bigalke will receive our Emerald Award for her commitment to volunteer service for JASMYN and beyond.

Schedule:

• 7:00 AM: Registration opens at Hyatt (ballroom lobby); photos and coffee in the foyer, and ballroom doors open (though lots of folks will arrive before that to enjoy a cup of coffee and some networking)
• 7:30 AM: Breakfast is served
• 8:00 AM: Program begins

Join us for an unforgettable evening in the city! This event is perfect for a fabulous girl’s night out, a delightful date, or simply a fantastic way to cap off your week. Immerse yourself in the joy of painting on canvas while grooving to dope music and soaking up positive vibes.

Your ticket includes canvas and painting supplies. This is a BYOB event, and drinks will be available for donation, ensuring a lively atmosphere.

Fascinators are the ultimate statement accessory, perfect for tea parties, themed soirees, weddings or adding a whimsical flourish to your everyday style. In this workshop, you’ll receive:

• Creative Guidiance – Step-by-step instructions from The Blessed Mess Express owner, Stephanie Holbrook, to design and assemble your fascinator.
• Curated Materials – A wide selection of florals, tulle and whimsical embellishments provided, every creation is truly unique.
• Thriftnic Flair – Enjoy the cozy, creative vibes that Thriftnic is known for while you craft. Be sure to stop by the variety of thrifters before or after the workshop to discover your next treasure.

Meet the Project Atrium: Muralists in Action artists, celebrate the announcement of the Jax Contemporary Arts Triennial Awards, and view Sebastian Vallejo: Where The Wild Zephyrs Sleep with the artist. This brunch-style opening will feature light bites and a cash bar. This event is free and open to all.

PROJECT ATRIUM: MURALISTS IN ACTION

Conceived as an exhibition accompanying Jax Contemporary, Muralists in Action showcases the vibrant muralist scene of Jacksonville. Led by veteran artists Shaun Thurston and Dustin Harewood, authors and collaborators of many murals around town, a group of apprentices and students will transform the Atrium Gallery into an engaging mural.
