“Just like Mario popping up through pipes, something is getting ready to pop-up in Jax!

Would you like to re-live your teenage days hanging out in your bedroom, playing Atari, Nintendo, or World of Warcraft with your friends? Well, you’re in luck! For one evening Party, Benefit and Jam, AKA PB&J, is gearing up for another pop-up picnic and it’s guaranteed to take you back to those good ol’ early gaming days!

For those of you who know us, our legendary pop ups are amazing evenings, full of delicious food, contagious laughter and entertaining company. This year, we are partnering with Extra Life, who raises money for our children’s hospitals in North Florida.

And this time, the pop up will be held at…


You know we can’t tell you that. It’s a secret. We can, however, tell you the location will take you back to your teenage days of trying to beat that difficult level of your favorite video game.

Wait a minute. What is this pop up thing?

Modeled after a similar event that started in Paris, it’s a communal dinner party where nobody (except the organizers) knows the location until an hour before the start of dinner.
Interested in coming?

In order to participate, either you or one of your friends will sign up as a table captain. Each table captain will be responsible for organizing your dinner party (i.e. table) of six (6) or (8). That includes: inviting five (5) to seven (7) dinner companions; arranging decorations and assigning food and beverage responsibilities.

The cost of the evening is $25 per table, book in advance, and your guests are encouraged to make a donation they can afford.

Important information is below.

Table Needs:
-Table decorations that align with your favorite video game (get creative, prizes will be awarded)
-One table setting for each guest at the table (plate, glass, utensils, napkin) – please do not bring anything disposable
-Serving utensils
-Appetizers, entrees and desserts for the table guests to enjoy (bring enough to share)
-Beverages for the table guests to enjoy
-Trash bags and necessary provisions to transport and/or clean up your dirty dishes – table captains are responsible for the cleanliness of the space. Let’s keep the space as clean as or cleaner than we found it!

Table captains! PB&J has your back. We will give you further instructions for making everything run smoothly.

Prizes will be awarded for:
-Best table decor.
-Best single cosplay.
-Best couples/group.
