Our Pokémon tournaments are designed to be a fun and casual introduction into the Pokémon TCG organized play. Smaller tournaments will combine age groups, and large ones will split the event into age brackets. All tournaments will be 3 rounds and everyone who completes the tournament will win at least one booster pack.
Also check out our calendar, website or Facebook group for other fun events, like our Saturday Pokémon Leagues or Prerelease events.
Assume the role of a Pokémon trainer and use their Pokémon and battle their opponents in this popular trading card adaptation of the phenomenon that is Pokémon.
Players begin by shuffling their decks and drawing seven cards, then playing one Basic Pokémon onto the battlefield ( the Active Pokémon) If a player does not have any Basic Pokémon, they must draw a new hand, and the opponent may draw one additional card. Once both players have at least one Basic Pokémon, they can play up to five more Basic Pokémon to their play field, known as the “bench” Players then take the top six cards of their remaining deck and place them to the side as their Prize Cards and flip a coin (or roll dice) to see who goes first.
Play new Basic Pokémon, evolve your Pokémon, play Trainer cards, play energy cards, and using non-attack Pokémon abilities. At the end of the turn, a player may use one of their Active Pokémon’s attacks. Knock out your opponents Pokémon to take one of your prize cards. Take all six of your prize cards or knock out all the opponents Pokémon to win!
